PSI is one type of inspection service that we check after the production finished and packed (80%-100%), before the shipment.
The inspection performs by conducting a sampling in accordance with the AQL standard or the Client’s sampling randomly, to have an overall assessment of the quality of the goods.
How the Pre-Shipment Inspection performing?
Identify the inspection: This section identifying the product to be inspected, quantity of finished product and packed in to the carton, choosing an inspection service provider, and preparing for the inspection.
Inspection: This involves a workmanship inspection, products measurement, functional testing, and product packaging checks. The inspector will use a checklist to compare the actual products with the Client’s require checklist or protocol, or with the Reference (approved) samples. The inspector will also find and record any deviations or defects.
Reporting: After the visual inspection, the service provides you a detail report that shows all the actual findings and recommendations. Base on the report, the Clients can decide the final results of the inspection, before the shipment. The inspection report will be sent to the client within 24 hours upon the completion of inspection.
